Cracked Foundation Restored in Decorah, IA

Lloyd H. in Decorah, IA had cracked foundation walls in his basement. He was concerned about the pressure this was putting on his home and he wanted to take care of it before the problem got any worse. He contacted American Waterworks and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Pete Wangen, to his home to design the right solution. Lloyd was pleased with our proposal, so he scheduled for us to repair his foundation.

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his crew installed wall anchors along the cracked and bowing walls which immediately prevented the walls from further deterioration. As they tightened the anchors, the walls began to straighten. Lloyd is glad he chose to protect his home by installing wall anchors. He no longer has to worry about his foundation failing.
